Modern Slavery
Act Compliance

Our Commitment

Signs Base Ltd. is committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and to ensuring that we are not complicit in any human rights violations in our own business and in our supply chain. We uphold the principles of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all other relevant legislation and standards.

Organization's Structure

We are a provider of signage solutions in the UK, operating primarily through our website www.signsbase.co.uk. Signs Base Ltd. is headquartered in the United Kingdom and serves customers across the country.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include the procurement of raw materials primarily related to the production of signage, as well as the sourcing of various services and technologies that support our business operations. We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers adhere to the highest standards of ethics and conduct.

Due Diligence Processes

We have in place systems to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.

  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.

  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.

  • Protect whistleblowers.

Risk and Compliance

We have identified that our greatest risk lies within our supply chains, where we procure raw materials and outsourced labor. To address these risks, we conduct due diligence on all new suppliers before allowing them to become part of our supply chain. This includes an online search to ensure that particular organization has never been convicted of offenses relating to modern slavery and on-site audits which include a review of working conditions.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and subcontractors.

Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking

We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:

  • Completion of onsite audits by internal inspectors or third-party firms.

  • Use of labor monitoring and payroll systems.

  • Level of staff training and awareness.

Further Actions

We continue to refine our procedures to prevent any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking. Annual reviews of our policies, training refreshers for our employees, and audits of our supply chain compliance form part of our proactive approach.

Reporting Concerns

Employees, customers, and the public can report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery in our business or supply chain activities through our confidential reporting system at [contact details].

Approval

This policy has been created in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It will be reviewed and updated annually to reflect our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our business and supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking.
