Sign Fitter / Graphics Installer Job in Witham, Essex

Signs Base, a leading name in the sign and graphics industry, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated signage fitter and production all-rounder to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to advance their careers within a fast-growing signage & graphics company.

This full-time, permanent position is located at our main office in Witham which is easily accessible and just a short walk from A12 and the train station, however the nature of the position will require the candidate to travel to multiple sites across the UK to carry out installation work.

Your Responsibilities

- Working alongside the installations manager and other team members

- Installation of various sign systems, including but not limited to vinyl graphics, illuminated signs, vehicle graphics, wall graphics & manifestations, fascia signs & totem signs.

- Operation of access equipment and machinery in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Conduct site surveys and prepare installation reports when required.

- Maintenance and repair of existing signage installations.

- Occasional signage manufacturing, including cutting, weeding, applying graphics, lamination and printing.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

- Full clean UK driving licence

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sign fitting / graphics fitting is required

- Strong practical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions.

- Excellent communication skills with clients and teamwork capabilities.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.

- Experience in vehicle wraps is advantageous but not essential.

Accreditations (Beneficial but not essential as training will be provided)

- IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Licence

- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) Certification

- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card
